The Limited Editions are a small series of designs using the same composition and design elements to create more than one of the same design.  However, each piece in the edition is individually created, and will be unique in its own way.   The editions are limited to just a few numbered pieces of any one design.   The reasoning behind creating a limited edition, for me, is to simply allow the creation of more than one of a particualr design that I truly enjoy making, or that is exceedingly popular or attractive.  Each one will still be handcrafted in the same manner that my one-0f-a-kind designs are created.

My newest collection of small designs.  Dragonflies have had significant symbolism in many cultures for thousands of years ..."Live life to the fullest", and "Make the most of the time you have..." are two of the most recognized meanings. 

Each of my designs is individually flame-cut from steel, ground and polished, shaped, heat-colored, and finished in my studio.  The hanger on the back is centered to allow the dragonfly to balance and be configured in any direction.  Individually they have a unique attraction and universal appeal.  However, as a swarm of several they add dramatic texture and dimension to a wall, in a niche, over a doorway, or on any surface where creative art is desired ... art without the limitations of a border or frame.

On this page are photos of my company vehicle, a 1964 Toyota Land Cruiser, stretched, chopped, tweeked and altered to the extreme.  It is not better or worse than any other Land Cruiser out there, it is just different.

Many years ago I needed and 4-wheel drive rig to take me to the remote desert areas of the Southwest to do photography and research on the Native American petroglyph and pictograph artwork that I was working on.  Instead of buying something, I decided to custom-build my own.  I like the old style Cruisers and strived to maintain the look and character of the original, but in reality there is actually nothing here that is replacable with stock Toyota bolt-on parts, except the hood.  Inside and out, everything has been altered, realigned, stretched, chopped, channelled, customized, or fabricated from scratch.  It is a hybrid of imagination, and it drives great and gets more attention than I had ever imagined it would.

It started as a year-long project on a budget, but like everything I do, I got carried away with the details and creative possibilities and took it way over any of my time and budget projections.   If you have any questions, feel free to ask.    Thanks for looking.
